WildBlue Equipment Requirements

Most computers in use today will meet the minimum system requirements. You will need:

PC/Windows users:
- 300 MHz or faster processing speed
- minimum 128 MB Random Access Memory (RAM)
- Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 or XP operating system
- 100 mb of hard drive space and an ethernet card are required

Macintosh users:
- 300 MHz or faster processing speed
- 128 MB Random Access Memory (RAM)
- OS 9, OS 10.2 or higher operating system
- 100 MB of hard drive space and an ethernet card are required

All users:
We recommend that WildBlue subscribers include a router as part of the installation, whether it's a PC or Mac. A router allows access for multiple PCs and can provide a hardware firewall for security. The following routers are currently supported:
- Linksys WRT-54G
- Linksys BEF-W11S4 v.2
- Linksys BEF-FSR11
- Linksys BEF-FVP41
- Netgear MR-318
- Netgear FR-318
- Netgear DG-814
- Netgear RP-614
- D-Link DI-514 wireless router
- D-Link DI-784 wireless router
- D-Link DI-774 wireless router

WildBlue will provide the other Equipment that you will need to complete your installation.
